This is a outstanding learning tool for beginning and intermediate cello players. The 11″ x 17″ instructional guide is nice to hang on the wall wherever you exercise for easy reference, rather of flipping through a book. This chart includes the notes of the cello displayed on the fingerboard. The chart also includes the Nashville Numbering Chart and Cirlcle of Fifths. This info may be found in books, but seldom on one easy to read chart!

Great poster, great customer service

I ordered this poster from Canada. It took a while to get it because UPS transferred the shipment to Canada Post at the border… I thought it got lost but the company was tracking it down for me. When I got it, I was quite happy. I have a suggestion though. If the company would laminate the poster for durability and put a hole on top of the poster for hanging, it would be perfect. I am sure people will be willing to pay more for it. At least I would if I had to order it again.

This is a wonderful aid for beginning cello students. If you are just venturing out of first position, all you need is the fingerboard diagram. The “Circle of 5ths” and the “Nashville Numbering System” charts are there to fill out the page, I think. Eventually, they may be helpful, but for now, I’m thrilled with just the fingerboard chart.
